Should Homework Be Banned To Improve Students Life & Health?
Should Homework Be Banned To Improve Studentâs Life & Health? Now I see how hard they work for their students. I would prefer to go to school rather than be taught curriculum at home, because then I would be able to play with my friends at recess and talk with them at lunch. My parents donât know what my teacher would teach, so I canât learn the new science curriculum. I can only review science I have already been taught. Similarly, 2-3 weeks before an exam, you need to sit down and figure out everything that needs to be reviewed, then break that up and spend time each day studying one of those chunks. This wastes a lot of time, so here are two tips to help you avoid this. You give yourself an hour to finish a small task, that youâre pretty sure wonât require the entire hour â" but it ends up taking the entire time, anyway. Here are 3 things Iâve learned that can help you stay ahead of you schoolwork and finish semesters, just as well as you start them. Learning at school definitely helps motivate me to get my work done, because Iâm in the environment to do work and thereâs really nothing else I can do. At home I have the liberty to literally do anything other than schoolwork. I personally am starting to miss my friends and my teachers. Yes, I am grateful for what I have, and I am grateful I still have a family. Staying home and doing distant learning has made me discover deep respect for teachers I didnât even know I have. classes and finally getting leadership positions for the clubs and activities we dedicated so much time to. As I sit at home, I feel that the edge that I have been working so long for is slipping away. I was ready to make this last full semester count. My little brother asks every morning if the germs went away yet â" he really misses school like me. There are days where I donât want to do any work, and itâs really easy to just not do it. icons new Productivity Get organized, become more efficient, and reclaim your time. icons new Career Skills Learn how to network, crush interviews, and land your dream job. icons new Life Skills Build confidence, make friends, budget your money, and more. For example, if youâve just been assigned an essay, it could be a 5-minute brain dump of topics you want to write about and possible sources you can look up. Now you may need to come back to certain things several times, but if youâre studying actively and quizzing yourself, youâll be able to easily determine what your weak points are. So I started spending less time studying, and more time on things that mattered more at the moment â" like playing Digimon World 2 on my Playstation One. By this time, I was tired of studying all the time and not having enough time to play⦠And that Sony PSP seemed like a distant prize. This meant that I had to have a 95% overall average in all my classes for an entire school year. and doing some form of school work or studying until 7 p.m. I even take my flashcards down while I make lunch. Thousands of juniors have selected rigorous courses for our last full year before our apps are due. No one signed a contract giving me the right to any of that, but then again, I feel entitled to my senior year. I feel as if I canât take a break or âturn offâ school. icons new Remote Work, learn, and succeed from the comforts of your own home. icons new View All PostsBookCourses icons new Productivity Masterclass Learn how to create a system that works and reorganize your life. Most schools in America have senior prom, Senior Ditch Day, senior prank, senior banquets, and most important, graduation. The resistance to starting is what prevents a lot of us from getting things done well in advance â" we wait until we have barely any time left. At that point, the panic pushes us past that resistance â" but it also stresses us out and causes us to do work thatâs not up to our full potential. This way, youâre getting started when you still have a very clear memory of all the requirements so you donât have to spend any time re-familiarizing yourself with things.
